Former Egypt international Ahmed Hossam ‘Mido’ has announced that Egypt national team legends will take on World legends on October 28 in Egypt.
In a series of tweets on Tuesday, Mido revealed that 70,000 fans will be allowed to watch the match on October 28. Mido also revealed a list of players who will be playing in the match.
The list for the national team legends includes Mido, Hazem Emam, Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan, Hany Ramzy, Essam El-Hadary, Mohamed Barakat, Wael Gomaa, and Ahmed Hassan among others.
The World legends side includes the likes of Totti, Figo, Drogba, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, and Balak among others.
The match is the first legends match announced to take place in the country since Barcelona legends were supposed to play Juventus legends in 2017. However, the game was later called off due to the unavailability of many star players.
