VIDEO: Ahmed Hegazy makes friendly debut for the Viola

Ahmed Hegazy made his debut for Fiorentina in their 3-0 friendly win against Italian third tier side FC Esperia Viareggio.

Hegazy only played half an hour as he’s yet to fully recover from the injury he picked up against Japan in Egypt’s final game at the Olympics.

Adem Ljajić, Haris Seferović and Andrea Lazzari were the goal scorers for the Viola.

Ahmed Hegazy remains doubtful to feature in the Coppa Italia on Saturday against Novara, however, he says he’ll definitely be fit to face Udinese in their Serie A opener on August 25th.
