Zamalek have reportedly rejected a loan offer from Ismaily for right-back Ahmed Eid in the January transfer window.
Eid is a product of Zamalek’s youth sector after joining the White Castle’s U-19 side from Al Ahly back in the summer of 2015.
The 20-year-old made his debut for Zamalek’s first-team against Aswan last year and earned a long-term contract.
He also cemented his place in the first-team for a while under former head coach Patrice Carteron, making 12 league starts last season.

The right-back also started for Zamalek in their historic CAF Champions League final against arch-rivals Al Ahly, where they suffered a 2-1 defeat.
Despite his first-team breakthrough last season, Eid is yet to make an appearance for Zamalek this season after falling down the pecking order.
Zamalek had completed the signing of Tunisia international Hamza Mathlouthi from CS Sfaxien last summer.

And with vice-captain Hazem Emam rediscovering his form, Eid has struggled to find game time as he was named in Zamalek’s matchday squad just twice this season.
According to local reports, Ismaily have made a loan offer to acquire the services of Eid in the January transfer window.
However, the Whites rejected the offer with head coach Jaime Pacheco demanding Eid’s stay with a tough run of games coming up.
Zamalek have kicked-off the new Egyptian Premier League campaign unbeaten, picking up 16 points from the opening six games.
