Zamalek give professional contracts to two youngsters

Cairo giants Zamalek have announced they have tied down 20-year-old Hussein Faisal and 18-year-old Ahmed Eid on long-term professional contracts to join the first team.

The two players are coming up from Zamalek’s youth sector. Eid has earned his first team debut with Zamalek on Thursday against Aswan and showed some encouraging signs during his display.

Zamalek have issued an official statement on Friday announcing that the young duo has signed a contract with team’s director of football Amir Mortada Mansour.

The Whites’ president Mortada Mansour stated that the club is giving the youth sector a very good attention and the club’s full support.

Zamalek have defeated Aswan by a comfortable margin of 2-0 despite going down to ten men when Tarek Hamed was sent off early in the second half.

The 2019 Confederation Cup winners move up to 4th in the table, with their next game coming this weekend away at Tanta on the 5th of January at 5PM local time.
