Pyramids FC file official complaint against Hussein El-Shahat

Pyramids decided to file an official complaint to the disciplinary committee of the EFA against Al Ahly player Hussein El-Shahat.

The Red Devils suffered their first loss of the season against Pyramids 3-0 in the 30 June Stadium on Sunday.

After the end of the game, Hussein El-Shahat was seen slapping Pyramids’ player, Mohamed Chibi following a verbal altercation between them.

The 31-year-old went to the dressing room to apologize to Mohamed Chibi after the game, in the presence of Pyramids FC’s sporting director Hany Said.

However, Said and his club still filed an official complaint against Hussein El-Shahat to the disciplinary committee of the Egyptian Football Association.

Said also confirmed that the club will attach to the complaint all the videos and evidence that prove Hussein El-Shahat’s deviation from the norm and his aggression towards Mohamed Chibi after the match, especially considering that the same incident happened with the same player in the Egyptian Super Cup.

Meanwhile, Al Ahly released an official statement announcing that El-Shahat has been fined according to the club’s regulations.

Moreover, EFA followed with a two-game ban, and decided to fine Hussein El-Shahat 220,000 L.E, for his violent behavior.
