The Egyptian Professional Clubs Association (EPFCA) announced an increase in the number of fans to 20,000 during matches of the Egyptian Premier League and the Egyptian League Cup.

The EPFCA revealed that the security authorities have agreed to increase the number of fans to 20,000 during the matches of the Premier League and the League Cup final.

The EPFCA expressed its gratitude to all state institutions, security authorities, and the Ministry of Interior for approving its request to increase the number of fans to 20,000 fans.

Ahmed Diab, the EPFCA president, stated: “We submitted a request since the beginning of the recent international break to increase the number of fans to 20,000 in Egyptian League matches.

“Since then, we have been conducting intensive and continuous security meetings to prepare for this matter. We are optimistic about making the right decision in the upcoming period.”

The association explained that the attendance of fans will be based on the official capacity of each stadium during Egyptian Premier League matches and the League Cup final.

This season’s League Cup final is between Ceramica Cleopatra and Tala’ea El-Gaish, but the date of the game has not yet been announced.
