OFFICIAL: Zamalek’s youngster Yassin Amr joins Portuguese side Gil Vicente

Zamalek’s youngster Yassin Amr has completed a move to Liga Portugal outfit Gil Vicente on a free transfer.

Amr represented Zamalek at U-15 level before signing a three-year deal with Gil Vicente on Sunday.

He becomes the third Egyptian to sign for the Roosters after Marwan Mohsen and Hossam Hassan, who played for the Barcelos-based club during the 2014/15 season.

Playing as a midfielder, Yassin Amr is expected to represent Gil Vicente’s U-17 side, in hopes of securing a place in the first-team in the future.

The deal is also the second of an Egyptian youngster moving to Portugal in a span of a day following Ahmed El-Ganainy’s move to Leixões.

Gil Vicente ply their trade at the top Portuguese league and currently sit 10th in the league table.
