ENPPI reject FC Sochi offer for Mohamed Hamdi

ENPPI football director Mohamed Ismail confirmed that the club rejected a Russian offer from FC Sochi to loan Mohamed Hamdi.

Mohamed Ismail has previously revealed they are in talks with Russian club FC Sochi to sign Mohamed Hamdi for the remainder of the season.

Ismail stated on Al Nahar TV: “There was an offer from Sochi to loan Mohamed Hamdi, but we rejected it due to financial demands that the Russian club did not agree with.

“The first condition was a specified participation percentage for the player to ensure his marketing well and a percentage of re-sell.

“We wanted Hamdi to participate in at least 40% of the remaining club matches until the end of the season.”

It’s worth mentioning that Hamdi is a key part of the current Egyptian Olympic team, which is preparing to participate in the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Mohamed Hamdi played 14 matches with ENPPI in the current season, scoring one goal and providing one assist.

Meanwhile. FC Sochi is currently at the bottom of the Russian Premier League table with 11 points from 18 matches.
