Teboho Mokoena’s agent Glyn Binkin has responded to rumours linking the Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder with a move abroad.
Recent reports confirmed Al Ahly’s interest in Teboho Mokoena after his sensational form during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The 27-year-old scored twice in five games to inspire South Africa to a third-place finish in the competition following their victory over DR Congo in the third-place playoffs.
Despite claims of a potential summer move, Glyn Binkin has played down transfer rumours and revealed that Mokoena is focused on his season with Mamelodi Sundowns.
“There has been lots of interest in Teboho, but he remains under contract to Sundowns until June 2026 and any club interested in Mokoena would have to engage with Sundowns in this regard,” said via iDiski Times.
