Juventus star Chiesa turns down Saudi offers amid Liverpool links

Juventus winger Federico Chiesa has been approached by Saudi giants Al Ahli Jeddah to replace the departed Allan Saint-Maximin.

Al Ahli have been searching for a replacement for Allan Saint-Maximin, who joined Turkish outfit Fenerbahce on a season-long loan earlier this summer.

It has been revealed that the club’s primary target for the summer is Federico Chiesa, who was informed he is not part of Juventus’ upcoming plans with new manager Thiago Motta.

However, Chiesa has made it clear he isn’t keen on a Saudi Arabia move, rejecting Al Ahli’s approach despite the Saudi club offering him a three-year deal worth between €15-20 million per season.

According to Tuttosport, Chiesa’s rejection has nothing to do with Al Ahli as the player also turned down another offer from Turkish giants Besiktas as he prefers to join another top European club amid links with Manchester United and Liverpool.

The report added that although Thiago Motta informed Chiesa that he is not part of his plans for next season, he is willing to give him a chance.

If healthy, Chiesa is a dream for any coach to work with; however, the Italian needs to make a decision soon as his contract ends by the end of the upcoming season and Juventus are not willing to let him go on a free transfer.
