REPORT: Manchester City set price tag for John Stones amid Ittihad interest

Manchester City are reportedly willing to let John Stones leave in case they receive a suitable offer for the centre-back.

According to a recent report by Qatari news channel Al-Kass, the Citizens have set a £29 million price tag for John Stones, putting Saudi and other European clubs on alert.

One of the interested suitors are Saudi Pro League giants Ittihad Jeddah who have been searching for a defender after the expected departure of former West Brom man Ahmed Hegazi.

Ittihad have already secured the signing of Houssem Aouar from AS Roma and are reportedly prepared to make another major signing this summer.

Stones had joined Manchester City in 2016 and has had a successful spell winning multiple trophies including six Premier League titles, the UEFA Champions League, two FA Cups and four English League Cups.

The 30-year-old was also part of the England squad at the 2024 Euros where they suffered a heart-breaking defeat to Spain in the final.
