Simba head coach Abdelhak Benchikha revealed his side are preparing for their clash against Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League.
The Tanzanian giants were drawn against reigning champions Al Ahly in the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League.
Both sides will meet first at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium on Friday, March 29th before facing each other in the return leg in Cairo a week later.
Speaking before the tie, Abdelhak Benchikha talked about Simba’s preparation and expects a tough game in the competition’s knockout stages.
“I am back with my team, tomorrow we have a league match, and after that, we have to prepare for a big match against Al Ahly,” Benchikha said via the club’s official account on X.
“We have to prepare for this match seriously, and we hope that our fans will attend to show them that we have people behind us, and we want to put pressure on them so that we do not regret it.”
