Former Pyramids winger Kenno joined Brazil’s Fluminense on a two-year deal with an optional one-year extension.

Keno became the most expensive signing in Egyptian football history when he joined Pyramids from Palmeiras in 2018 for 8.5 million USD.

The Brazilian spent one season with the Egyptian club scoring 10 goals and registering 11 assists before moving to UAE’s Al Jazira on loan.

In 2020, Keno returned to Brazil joining Atlético Mineiro with whom he won the domestic double in 2021 as well as the Brazilian Super Cup in 2022.

He has now agreed to join league rivals Fluminense, who presented the 33-year-old as he will wear the number 25 shirt.

“I am very happy with the opportunity Fluminense has given me. I didn’t hesitate to accept once I received the call from the board of directors,” Keno spoke to Fluminese’s official website.

“I am happy, and I am excited to meet my new friends soon. I already know some of the people who I played with before, but I know that I am going to have a new and different family here.”

“My wish for 2023 is to bring joy to all my teammates and the Tricolor fans.”
