Arsenal legends, Gilberto Silva and Ian Wright are the latest to have hailed Arsenal midfield duo Mohamed Elneny and Thomas Partey following their faultless display against Manchester United.

Mohamed Elneny put in an impressive display at Old Trafford on Sunday as Arsenal secured their first Premier League victory away at Man Utd for the first time in 16 years.

Aubameyang was the hero for the Gunners, scoring the winner from the spot, but it was Elneny and Partey’s superb performances in the middle of the part that kept Solskjær’s side quiet.

Both former Brazilian midfielder Gilberto Silva and Arsenal’s former leading goalscorer Ian Wright took to Twitter to show their appreciation of the midfield duo.

Following the final whistle at Old Trafford, Ian Wright posted stats of the Ghanian midfielder’s display, followed by a separate tweet praising Elneny by tweeting his full name.

The former Arsenal midfielder had previously expressed his admiration for the Egyptian midfielder’s style of play in an interview with France Football earlier this year.
