Newly promoted Future FC have signed Tunisian giants Etoile Sportive du Sahel forward Aymen Sfaxi in their preparations for the 2021/22 Egyptian Premier League season.
Future FC will accompany Pharco FC and El-Sharkia Lel Dokhan to the Egyptian Premier League after coming on top of second division’s Group B.
The promotion is the first in the club’s history since it was founded back in 2011, Future alongside the other two promoted clubs will be replacing the relegated Entag El-Harby, Aswan, and Wadi Degla in the next Egyptian Premier League campaign.
After their promotion, Future have made multiple transfers and loan deals to strengthen their ranks for the upcoming season, the latest of which is the signing of Aymen Sfaxi.
Sfaxi, 25, featured in 59 matches with Etoile, in which he scored 15 goals and made six assists. He was also the 2020/21 Ligue Professionnelle 1 top scorer as he netted nine goals in the Tunisian domestic league.
Aymen’s efforts have also led Etoile to CAF Champions League participation as they came second in the Tunisian league behind title-holders Esperance.
