Egyptian Premier League side Ittihad of Alexandria announced that club president Mohamed Meselhy has tested positive for coronavirus.
The Alexandria giants announced the news on their social media accounts and sent him a message from the whole staff wishing him a speedy recovery.
Ittihad of Alexandria have had a busy transfer window, having signed nine players. These names include Ismaily’s Nader Ramadan, Saïdou Simporé, Salifu Moro from Bechem United FC, Ahmed Yehia, Zamalek defender Mohamed Abdelsalam, Ahmed Adel ‘Messi’, Mabululu from Primeiro de Agosto, Benjamin Boateng and more recently Mohamed Magdy from Bank Al Ahly.
