While the 2010’s might not have been the best for Egyptian football as previous decades, Ahmed Yousef ranks the Top Ten Egyptian players of the decade.

The National Team qualified for their first World Cup in 28 years, but what characterizes Egyptian football this past decade was the slew of players who moved to Europe to make a name for themselves. Players like Mohamed Salah and Mohamed Elneny established a pipeline from the Egyptian Premier League to the Swiss League. On the other hand, players like Walid Soliman and Abdallah El-Said will go down as Egyptian legends despite spending the better part of their careers in Egypt.
