Arab Contractors president: Al Ahly want to sign Taher Mohamed

Arab Contractors president Mohsen Salah has revealed Al Ahly’s wish to sign their winger Taher Mohamed in the summer transfer window.

Mohamed suffered a major injury at the start of the season, which ruled him out of the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations.

As a result, the 23-year-old has made only six appearances in the Egyptian Premier League this season, scoring once against Smouha back in September.

“Today was the first time that Al Ahly inquired about signing Taher [Mohamed] from us,” Arab Contractors president Mohsen Salah told ON Time Sports.

“Al Ahly’s president Mahmoud El-Khatib talked to me and said they want to sign Taher either permanently or on loan.

“Taher [Mohamed] has already told me that he does not mind playing for Al Ahly but his primary objective at the moment is to play abroad,” he added.
