This season’s continental African cup competitions saw the four Egyptian teams make it to the knockout stages: Al Ahly, Zamalek, Pyramids and Al Masry. It has been a difficult African campaign for most of those representing Egypt, perhaps Pyramids is the only exception, but points were hard to come by in this edition.
